Omani delegations laud ADP Traffic technologies and Saaed
 
 

Delegations from the brotherly Royal Police of Oman and Omani insurance companies have praised development efforts of ADP Department of Traffic and Patrols and Saaed Traffic Systems Company.

Colonel (Engineer) Husain Ahmed Al Harthi, Director of ADP traffic and patrols Department received and welcomed a delegation from Royal Police of Oman, comprises major Abdullah Al Ghailani, Director of Licenses, Major (Engineer) Ali bin Sulaiem bin Jameel Al Falahi, Director of Traffic Engineering. Major Ahmed Salim Al Niyadi, Head of Media and Public Relations Section was present during the meeting.

The delegation lauded the development achieved by Traffic Department in all areas especially in road engineering and advanced technological systems. They also praised the awareness programmes and plans made by media and public Relations Section, particularly the traffic village project which would raise the level of preventive culture among the community. At the end of the visit both sides exchanged commemorative presents.

In the same context a delegation representing Omani Insurance Companies reviewed the systems of Saaed Company with a view to implement the systems of the Saaed Company in Oman.

Engineer Ibrahim Yusuf Raml, CEO of Saaed Company received the Omani delegation. The delegation was headed by Mr. Khaleel Ahmed Al Harthi, General Manager of national Insurance Company and Representative of Insurance Companies in Oman. He welcomed the proposal of establishing Saaed Company in Oman to serve customers at local and regional level. Engineer Raml briefed the delegation on the Saaed Company since its set up, stages of its development and its tasks. He also showed the visiting delegation the proposals of implementing the Company systems in a number of UAE Emirates.

He explained the role of traffic experts and how the Company saves traffic Police time and effort. He confirmed the Company’s preparedness to provide professional support to facilitate implementation of the service in Oman. He explained to them that the Company work is not limited to attendance to minor accidents, but it has a special operations room and traffic patrols ready to go to the site of accident in a record time.

The Head of Omani delegation lauded Saaed Company mechanism of work and technologies in use, after a tour to the facilities of the company.
