His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE’s Armed Forces said the security and stability is the top priority of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to transform the UAE among the world’s most safe and stable countries and drive it towards further progress and prosperity.

“The march led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan requires more efforts and action to advance security performance and efficiency of police alongside the use of modern technology, promotion of the involvement of the community and the culture of security, as well as raising awareness of individuals as security is a joint responsibility to meet the requirements of sustainable development”, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed said in speech at a graduation ceremony at the Police Academy for 402 male and female police officers (22nd batch of cadet officers, the 22nd course of University graduate and the 6th course of female university graduates).

Sheikh Mohammed urged the new graduates to be an example of loyalty to the nation, the leadership as well as full awareness of the message of the security authority and the future responsibilities.

“We extremely trust our sons and daughters who graduated today to be on high alert to protect the security of our country, the enforcement of the rule of law and human rights,” His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed concluded.

In attendance at the graduation ceremony were Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, crown prince of Ajman, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqer Al Qassimi, crown prince of Ras al-Khaimah, Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler‘s Representative in the Eastern Region, Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sheikh Hazza Bin Tahnoun, Undersecretary of the Court of the Representative of the Ruler in the Eastern Region, Abdullah Al Masoud, Chairman of the Consultative Council, Sheikhs, senior officials and diplomats.

For his part, Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior stressed that President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan is interested in backing the work of security institutions by all human and material resources in order to enable them to protect national security and achievements and to provide safety for all nationals, residents and visitors on our good land.”

He further said “the presence of His Highness Mohammed Bin Zayed is an honor, a source of pride and a realization of his commitment to persistent follow up of efforts to ensure the success of plans and strategies to develop police and security institutions, highly qualify their human resources and enable them to keep up with the UAE’s process of development and prosperity.”

Sheikh Saif also reiterated commitment to plans to keep the UAE as a haven for the good but as an unfavorable place for the evil.

He praised the role of the police college and those in charge for their continuous efforts to prepare and highly qualify human resources that meet the needs of police and security agencies in the country.
