Mauritanian Minister of Interior visits
Capital Police Directorate, Licensing and Criminal Evidence Departments

 

HE Mohammad Wild Abileil, Minister of Interior and Decentralization of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania paid a visit to the Department of Vehicles and Drivers Licensing, Capital Police Directorate and the Department of Forensic Evidence at Abu Dhabi Police.

The Mauritanian Minister and his accompanying delegation were received by Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Risi, Director General of Central Operations, Colonel Mohammad Mayoof Al Kitbi, Director of Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department and Lt. Colonel Suhail Al Kheili, Head of Vehicles Licensing Section. The visiting delegation listened to a detailed explanation of the tasks and duties of Licensing Section and technical inspection of vehicles.

Colonel Maktoum Ali Al Shareefi, Director of the Capital Police Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police received the visiting Minister and his delegation. They discussed the means of enhancing relations, cooperation and exchange of experiences in areas of mutual interest. The delegation toured different Sections and branches of the Directorate in addition to Khalidia Police Station. The meeting was attended by Colonel Salim Ali Al Zaabi, Deputy Director for Administration and Finance and a number of officers.

Lt. Colonel Ibrahim Al Hinai, Director of Khalidia Police Station briefed the delegation on the Station Organizational Structure, the tasks and duties of the One Stop Police Station.

In the same context Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Hamadi, Director of Forensic Evidence Department and Colonel Anwar Al Mullah, Director of It and Communications received the Mauritanian Minister and his delegation during their visit to the Department. Colonel Al Hamadi briefed them on the development stages of his Department. Then the delegation watched a documentary about the tasks and duties of the Department sections. They also attended a presentation on the Eye Print, Federal Traffic, Facial Print, Tetra Systems and Electronic Services delivered by ADP.

Mauritanian Minister and his delegation are visiting UAE in response to an invitation by HH the Deputy prime Minister and Minster of Interior. A mission of Honor headed by Brigadier Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi and Major Mohammad Khamis Al Saridi, Officer of Protocol are accompanying the Minister and his delegation.
