Major General Al Nuaimi honors journalists
M. G. Nasser La Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior received at his office Marie Al Halyan, Deputy Head of Cultural Section in Al Bayan news paper and Mr. Salam Abu Shihab, Deputy Manager of Al Khaleej News paper Office in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting was attended by Lt. Colonel (Dr.) Fawaz Khaleel Badran and Mr. Abdullah Shaheen, Press coordinator, from the Secretariat General of the office of HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
They discussed matters of mutual interest during the meeting, including the efforts and cooperation of media in highlighting the social activities of the MoI and ADP. Major General Al Nuaimi honored both journalists during the meeting.
According to Al Nuaimi, this honoring is in response to the directives of HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior to boost relations with media and to appreciate the efforts of distinguished media men for their cooperation with MoI and other agencies under its command.
The Secretariat General of the Office of HH is in the process of honoring a group of distinguished journalists of different Medias.
Mr. Al Halyan of Al Bayan News paper, more than 15 years in the press field, is the one of the most distinguished journalists who highlights police activities and their role in maintaining security and safety of the country. Mr. Abu Shihab of Al Khaleej News paper has contributed a lot to reflecting police activities in the news. For instance he has recently covered ADP activities at Al Ghuwaifat Border Station in addition to other police-related issues.
