Major General Al Awadhi receives a delegation from Media Zone Authority
Major General Mohammad bin Al Awadhi Al Minhali, Director General of Human Resources and Acting Director General of Policing Operations at ADP, has received recently a delegation from Abu Dhabi Media Zone authority headed by Mubarak Ghudeir Al Dhahri, Director of Government Services Department.
The delegation has reviewed ADP experiment, model and implementation mechanisms that led to winning 4 prizes during the second round of Abu Dhabi Distinguished Government Performance Award.
The meeting was opened by Captain Rashid Abdullah Al Dossari, Head of Institutional Excellence Secretariat Section at the Department of Strategy and Performance Development. He welcomed the visiting delegation and affirmed the joint interest between local institutions and departments in exchanging knowledge and enhancing partnerships to achieve the visions and aspirations of Abu Dhabi Government.
Al Dossari explained in a presentation ADP journey to Abu Dhabi Distinguished Government Performance Award. He mentioned the change process since 2003 with the launch of the first strategic plan, development of ADP GHQ organizational structure, Department of Strategy organizational structure, different tasks and duties and working team efforts in implementing global standards of quality to promote general performance, in addition to ADP implementation of institutional excellence standards.
He said "The concept of excellence and its requirements were clear from the first step in which ADP started making its plan to obtain the awards of excellence in government performance, in response to the directives of our police leadership, and its implementation in accordance with methodological steps and effective working mechanisms".
The presentation stressed ADP GHQ interest in the comprehensive development project and achievement of our leadership vision, on top of which was the launch of the strategic plan of Abu Dhabi Emirate which expresses cooperation between government departments and authorities in the Emirate.
The delegation lauded the distinguished performance of ADP, affirming the importance of visits to achieve further cooperation and to benefit from different expertise to promote work. The Head of the delegation thanked the Working Team for their warm welcome and hospitality, affirming that the winning of the award by ADP is something to be proud of by all the country, and an indication of ADP efforts in spreading security and safety among community members. He wished them more excellence.
At the end of the visit Major General Al Minhali, presented a commemorative shield to the Head of the delegation comprising: Ibrahim Bu Dabs, Director of Talents and Development, Baffin Bandit, Controller of Commercial Activities.
