Major General Al Awadhi honors radio program team

Major General Mohammed Al Awadhi Al Menhali, director general of Human Resources and acting director general of Police Operations at Abu Dhabi Police honored at his office the team of the radio program titled “ Darbak Khadar”.

The program was broadcasted by Emarat FM Radio and sponsored by Abu Dhabi Police during last Ramadan. It contributed positively to address the public and convey the media message of Abu Dhabi Police for the year 2010.

Al Awadhi underscored keenness of police leadership to promote partnership with different segments of the society including the media which turned to become a significant  and influencing tool in reflecting negative practices, forming and guiding the public opinion, and collecting efforts to conformant them.
Honoring included Yaqoub Al Rousi, Emarat FM controller and supervisor of the program, Ziyad Mahmoud, a director, and Fatima Khalifa, a presenter from Emarat FM radio, and 1st Lt. Hamdan Al Dire, head of Radio Branch at the Security Media Department.

“The program played a great role to convey the Abu Dhabi Police message to the public especially the youth, in a new and interesting style”, said Al Dire. In 22 episodes of the program, around 100.000 calls were received from different persons to take part in the program, he added.
 
 On behalf of his colleagues, Al Rousi thanked Abu Dhabi Police for their cooperation with Emarat FM radio, and their sponsorship of the program, assuring that the audiences have unexpectedly interacted with the program.
