International Anti-drugs campaign in Al Ain
Community Policing Unit and Public Relations Section in Al Ain Police Directorate participated in the International Anti-drugs Day activities. The campaign is being held under the patronage of HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
The event is organized by Al Ain Police Directorate in Al Ain Mall under the theme “Yes to Sports, No to Drugs”.
According to Lt. Hamad Obeid Al Dhahiri, Acting Director of Community Policing Affairs Branch at Al Ain, Community Policing is always keen to promote partnership and responsibility spirit among community members. The program includes showing the newly introduced motorbike to be used by the Community Policing men. The new motorbike can go to places where cars can not reach such as inside public parks and markets.
Number of Al Ain Police Directorate Branches and drugs-related organizations participated in the activities of the day. A number of posters and exhibits were shown.
