ICAO congratulates Saif bin Zayed.
Director General of Legislation and International Relations at the Canadian Passport Department and Chairman of the Working Group tasked by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to follow up modern technologies, Mr. Jerry Macdonald, has congratulated HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior on the implementation of Face Print at Abu Dhabi Airport.
The security system installed at passengers’ inspection passages and the transit area. Mr. Macdonald considers the installation of this technology at the airport complies with ICAO vision.
The system was launched by HH General Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces, in July 2008. The system was activated last may.
