Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director - General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police, honored on Monday, a total of 12 distinguished officers, non-commissioned officers and civilians, winners of the "Leader Award” of the Ministry of Interior Excellence Award. The award was granted to staff of the General Secretariat of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, in recognition of their efforts; their participation in providing entry files for the second phase of the competition for 2012; and qualifying for the third and final stage.
Brigadier Al Dhaheri congratulated the winners, urging them to exert more efforts in the next phase, and to pursue further excellence in their work, and improve performance in all areas.
He stated: “Honoring outstanding employees embodies the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s strategy to recognize the achievements and outstanding performance of its staff, because the human cadre thrives through the investment of individual and collective skills”. Moreover, he pointed out that this honor enhances the spirit of creativity and innovation, and motivates employees to elaborate constructive ideas to develop work.
Winners were as following:
Best officer in the supervision field, Major Ahmed Saleh Al Qotbi from the Private Security Companies’ Department.
Best officer in the Technical field, Captain Jamal Jassim Al Hosani, from the Department of Technical Affairs and Security Media.
Best officer in the specialized field, Lieutenant Hamdan Hamoud Al Dar’I, from the Department of Technical Affairs and Security Media.
Lieutenant Amran Abdul Rahim Al Zarooni from the Air Wing Department won the creativity and innovation award.
Best field officer, Lieutenant Abdullah Ali Al Hafeeti, from the Private Security Companies’ Department.
Best non-commissioned officers in the administrative field, Assistant Obaid Mohammed Al Mutairi, and Sergeant Saeed Mohammed Al Hammadi, from the Private Security Companies’ Department.
Best non-commissioned officer in the specialized field, Corporal
Hassan Othman Al Naqbi, from the Security Media Department.
Best Employee award, Corporal Hamad Khalfan Al Shamsi, from the Department of Private Security Companies.
Best Civilian award in the administrative field, Noura Jassim Al Hosani.
Best joint work team, Federal Security Information Department, for the category of work teams.
The internal performance improvement team award was granted to the Private Security Companies’ Department team.
For their part, the honorees expressed their happiness to receive this honor, which represents a strong incentive for them to exert further effort in the service of the country. Moreover, they stressed that this honor will enable them to develop mechanisms of creativity and innovation, and enhance the level of performance, to be in par with international-best standards adopted by Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Faisal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Director of Strategy and Performance Development at ADP; Major Abdul Rahman Al Mansouri, Director of Corporate Excellence Department at the Ministry of Interior; department directors; and a number of officers.
Notably, His Highness the Minister of Interior’s award aims to encourage work teams and staff to spread the culture of excellence, and to achieve the desired aspirations.
