Hazza and Saif bin Zayed attend graduation ceremony at the Police College

Under the patronage of General His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser and Vice Chairman of the Executive Council attended this morning (Monday) the graduation ceremony at the Police College in Abu Dhabi in the presence of HH Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of interior.

A total number of 314 graduates including 188 cadets 126 university graduates, among whom 20 are female students, received their certificates at the ceremony. Among the graduates two are from Bahrain, one from Qatar, two from Jordan, two from Palestine and one from Yemen.

HH Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Abu Dhabi Ruler's Representative, H.H Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, , H.H Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abdullah Al Masoud, chairman of the National consultative Council in Abu Dhabi, and  a number of other Sheikhs, ministers and diplomats were in attendance.

The ceremony was also attended by Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Nasser Lekhrebani Al Nuaimi, secretary general of the office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, senior officials, officers of armed forces directors of Police colleges and institutions, and parents of the graduates

Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that the evolution of police and security agencies is a story of strong national will and sound vision, as well as a unique pioneering attitude of the leaders to embody the process of nation building, development and modernization taking place all across the country.

The successes achieved by the federal government including the Ministry of Interior, are attributed to the attention we receive from His Highness President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and to the constant follow-up of His Highness Vice President, Prime Minster of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and to the efforts of General His Highness Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. It has therefore become incumbent upon us to laude all these sincere efforts which led to more atmospheres of security, safety and stability, said HH Sheikh Saif.

He added, “Experiences and successive incidents have taught us many methods of work and success, most prominent of which includes loyalty and sincere affiliation to the nation, promotion of fair competitiveness, and perseverance to attain our targets. It is therefore, imperative upon you to keep endeavoring in order to achieve superiority in your future career”.

He also said, “The nation has assigned us with the responsibility to keep security and maintain order. We should always work on changing the culture of routine and job minimum requirements. These traditional concepts should be replaced by other modern concepts which encourage the culture of innovation and motivation, thus becoming able to upgrade police service outputs.

“Getting certificates is not the end of the road; it is a new stage”, reaffirmed Sheikh Saif, wishing success to all graduates. He also congratulated the parents of the graduates, concluding that we would like, on this occasion, to emphasize determination to carry on and maintain excellence so that our beloved country become an oasis of security and prosperity and a good environment for the future of the generations to come”.
