Hazaa and Saif bin Zayed witness graduation of new batch of cadet officers
Under the patronage of HH General Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, HH Sheikh Hazaa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the National Security Advisor, witnessed the graduation of the 20th batch of cadet officers, 20th batch of university graduates officers and 4th batch of female university graduates officers at Abu Dhabi Police College, on Wednesday. HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior was also present during the ceremony.
The graduation ceremony was also attended by HH Sheikh Hamid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Diwan of HH Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, HH Sheikh Omer bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aide-de-camp to HH to the President of the UAE, a number of Their Highnesses the Sheikhs, HE Abdullah Al Masoud, Chairman of the National Consultative Council, HE Saqr Ghabash, Minister of Labor, Dr. Haneef Hassan, Minister of Health, Dr. Maytha Rashid Al Shamsi, Minister of State, Major general Anthony Kloshove, Belarusian Minister of Interior, members of Diplomatic Corps to the UAE, Delegations from Police Colleges and Institutes and Training Departments at a number of GCC, Arab and Foreign Countries.
The event was also attended by Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Shaafar, MoI Undersecretary, Major General Nasser La Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of HH’s Office and Chairman of Police College Board of Directors, Senior Officers of MoI and Police Directorates, HE Lt. General Obeid Mohammad Al Kaabi, Minster of Defence Undersecretary, Armed Forces Senior Officers and Colonel Saif Ali Al Kitbi, Director General of the Police College.
The ceremony started with the entry of graduates parade and the arrival of HH the ceremony sponsor who inspected the parade lines after the national anthem.
In a statement on the occasion HH Sheikh Saif said “We are very proud to see the 20th batches of cadets, university graduates and the 4th batch of female university graduates after they have met graduation requirements. We always greet female elements who join police force”. “We UAE citizens learned a lot of success methods in life from HH the President of UAE (God bless him)”. HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed continued “WE in MoI inspire loyalty in work from HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE and his brother HH Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice president and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and through the follow up of HH General Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces”.
Colonel Al Kitbi, Director General of the College delivered a speech on the occasion. He welcomed HH the sponsor of the event. The graduates, with all their categories worked very hard to reach this stage. They received bachelor degree in policing sciences and criminal justice, throughout the four years of intensive study. The university graduates spent one year in the College to get their degrees. He addressed the graduates by saying “today you will join those who have preceded you. You are expected to do your work with diligence and professionalism, and to obey your superiors. Your motto should be loyalty and belonging to this home land”.
At the end of his speech he thanked HH the sponsor of the event. He and on behalf of College staff expressed highest levels of loyalty to the higher leadership of the UAE.
