The visitors and participants valued the effort made by the Abu Dhabi Police in organizing the Fan Zone that was launched recently at the Abu Dhabi Corniche. Participants stressed that the Police is renewing its commitment to communicate with society in a modern and developed manner by organizing this exhibition.

Visitors said that the exhibition presents a magnificent way to extend traffic awareness in line with the campaign launched by the Security Media Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior under the theme: “The Road Has its Ethics and Speed has its Track.” The event is part of the current preparations of the Formula-1 events in Abu Dhabi 2012 that will be launched on November 2, 2012.

Visitors observed the famous and renowned police patrol (F999), which is the fastest police patrol in the world, with great enthusiasm.

Malika Fekri, a participant, mentioned that the police serve as an example to all countries around the world due to the peace and security it provides. She further noted that the participation of Abu Dhabi Police in Fan Zone has added further momentum to the event especially through the Al Saqr (Falcon) motor bike, and the Formula-1 patrol, in addition to the awareness programs provided to the public annually under different themes. The children’s village has contributed to introducing traffic laws in a simplified way promoting traffic awareness at a young age.

Julia Words said that the participation of Abu Dhabi Police in an event at this level is important especially since visitors have the desire to communicate with police staff because they have great confidence in delivering the required information at the right time and place.

She added that the logo of Abu Dhabi Police is a testament to its dedication in terms of encouraging drivers to adhere to speed limits since roads are not racing tracks, and driving on roads has its own ethics.
 
Carlo Butaji agreed and noted that the effort of the police to maintain the safety of the public by focusing more on the importance of fastening seat belts and adhering to traffic rules to avoid accidents that may have devastating consequences. He noted the police role in the Fan Zone reflects the effort in spreading concepts of traffic culture and its effects on the visitors of the event.

Marline Massoh commended the theme presented by the Abu Dhabi Police “the Road Has its Ethics and Speed has its Track,” noting that it is an expressive theme and reflects the level of care extended by the police leadership to preserve the lives of the youth, and protect them from the risk of turning streets to racing tracks.

She added that younger segments of society are the majority attending the exhibition, which asserts that concerned parties are benefiting from traffic awareness programs launched by Abu Dhabi Police during its annual participations.
 
Muhannad Matta valued the leading role of Abu Dhabi Police represented by the traffic and patrols directorate and its other departments, that seek to participate in different occasions in order to play an active and fundamental role in spreading awareness among the community members at all levels, especially in terms of traffic culture and calls to adhere to speed limits, as speed takes away lives that the country needs the most to push forward the development process.
