Establishments Security Conference made its recommendations

 

The International Conference on the Security and Engineering of Public and Strategic Establishments ended its sessions and made its recommendations yesterday (Monday). In their closing Statement the participants thanked HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior for his kind patronage of the Conference. The final session was chaired by Brigadier Faris Khalifa Al Farsi, Director General of establishments Protection Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of Organizing Committee.

The recommendations include introduction of a Directory for Specifications Measurements for securing strategic establishments, classification and definition of public establishments, identifying public and strategic establishments and classifying them according to their importance, specialized consultative authorities would have to evaluate security systems in use in these establishments and to recommend necessary changes in security systems.

Brigadier Jasim Mohammad Al Marzouqi, Deputy Director General of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police chaired the third and fourth sessions of the Conference. Six working papers were presented during these sessions. At the end of the Conference Brigadier Al Farsi gave away certificates and trophies to the participants.
