Electronic link between ADP Licensing Dpt. and public and private agencies
The Department of Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at ADP is implementing an integrated plan to link the Department with insurance companies, Customs Department, New cars Dealers, Used Cars Dealers, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Western region Municipalities and other relevant parties, in addition to ADNOC Technical Inspection Centers.
Lt. Colonel Suhail Saeed Al Khili, Head of Vehicles Licensing Section says 34 centers will offer licensing services in different areas of Abu Dhabi Emirate. These centers will save time and effort of customers and lessen the number of required documents.
There are 690,000 licensed vehicles up to the end of last month in Abu Dhabi Emirate. 807,000 persons have received their driving licences, 95,400 of these are women up to the end of last month.
New centers for licensing taxi cars have been opened in Trans Center, Al Samha, Bani Yass, Al Khazna, Mussafah, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Marina Mall.
The Department will not renew the registration of any vehicle its Carbon Monoxide exceeds 4.5% and diesel vehicle which its hydrocarbon exceeds 1200 /million.
