Community Policing Forum concluded at Ibn Sina School
ADP Community Policing Department concluded its Fourth Annual Forum which was organized in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC), at Ibn Sina Elementary School at Al Shahama Area in Abu Dhabi, on Thursday. A number of local government organizations and private sector companies participated in the Forum.
The ceremony began with the national anthem and verses from the Holy Quran. Major Khatim Mubarak Al Kitbi, Director of Operations Affairs at ADP delivered a speech. He thanked ADPC, Official Sponsor of the event, and Ibn Sina School for hosting the 3-day Forum and all organizations which contributed to the success of the Forum.
Then Mr. Khalifa Jumaa Al Rumaithi, General Manager at ADPC, in his speech welcomed the sponsorship of the event by his company to enhance communication with the community through the company projects in the area.
Salima Ibrahim, Directress of Ibn Sina School appreciated the importance of the Forum and the role of public and private organizations in its success, which reflects the solidarity of the people of the Area.
Captain Abdullah al Harthi, Head of Community Policing Section at the Directorate of Peripheral Areas said "This Forum reflects ADP keenness to activate effective partnerships with the private sector and government agencies. He thanked ADPC for sponsoring the event".
Major Khatim Mubarak Al Kitbi with the presence of Khalifa Jumaa Al Rumaithi, Saeed Al Manaai and Salima Ibrahim honored the participating agencies.
The Forum (11-13 May) opened by Major Saeed Al Rashdi, Director of Al Rahba Comprehensive Police Station included a number of sports and artistic shows, awareness programmes such as traffic rules and security awareness, by the community police and traffic elements at Al Rahba Police Station.
A number of government and private companies attended the events of the Forum, such as Emirates Driving School, Al Shahama Municipality Center, Emirates Heritage Club, Al Rahba Hospital, Emirates Aluminum Company, Social support Center, Emirates Transport, Civil Defence, Security Media Department, etc.
