Community Police is ready to serve FIFA Club World Cup fans
Lt. Colonel Mubarak bin Meheiroom, Director of ADP Department of Community Police has called on football fans to translate the theme of the campaign launched by the Department of Security Media, under the slogan "Cheer Warmly…Cheer in a Civilized Way", into action, in order to highlight the shining and civilized image of the country during the matches of FIFA Club World Cup.
"This major sports event achieves its success through cooperation of institutions and individuals with the police, to ensure the safety and security of players and supporters of different participating teams, within the state of security and stability which the country enjoys. All police authorities work as one team with a view to enhance sports fans safety and security and community members in general everywhere" added bin Meheiroom.
He has affirmed the Community Police preparedness to serve the fans of the game, through its keenness to provide appropriate atmospheres for following up the Championship matches and to highlight cultural, heritage and civilized aspects of the country.
ADP always takes into consideration community partnership within the framework of police work, so as to develop and promote the services delivered to the public. The Community Police is keen to develop constructive relations with community members and to enhance preventive aspects.
"The Community Police has a key role, through periodical meetings held with all institutions, participation in all events and occasions, especially the sports ones. The Community Police has well studied plans to deal with community members and to deliver best services", added bin Meheiroom.
The Community Police elements exist all the time among community members, they meet the community needs, pays attention to improving the services delivered to the community, promotes sense of responsibility between community members and the police, in order to achieve community security, solves its problems, spreads security culture and social awareness, reduces crime rates and protects community from crime.
