Aman Service Slogan launched at 25 fuel stations in Abu Dhabi
ADP GHQ, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), has launched the slogan of AMAN Service "Your call will be secure and confidential", at 25 fuel stations at Abu Dhabi Emirate level.
Lt. Mohammad Khalifa Al Kheili, Official of ADP AMAN Service, has lauded the constructive cooperation between ADP and ADNOC.
He has affirmed ADP GHQ keenness on its relations with different government and private agencies and enhancement of useful partnerships to serve the public. The Service allows the public to call for any matter related to public safety, such as begging, firecrackers and other issues that require police attention. People can call the toll-free number (8002626) or send a SMS to (2828).
"The Service aims to sustain communication with the public to boost the community’s trust and reassurance through knowing their needs, listening to their suggestions and views, in addition to their impressions of police performance", added Al Kheili.
"AMAN Electronic Service purpose is to open direct communication channels with ADP GHQ to contribute to community protection against crimes, keeping in mind the diversity of cultures in the country", added Al Kheili.
ADP has launched recently the AMAN Service on a number of public buses that roam the Capital, Al Ain and Western Region Roads, urging the public to communicate and interact with the two campaigns launched by the Department of Security Media: AMAN Service Campaign and Awareness Campaign against Firecrackers.
He has affirmed that public transport is a strategic partner to all government efforts based on awareness programmes to become an important partner in supporting government efforts to maintain security and community stability.
100,000 people travel by buses daily in Abu Dhabi. This size allows publication of awareness advertisements clearly and directly. He has lauded MoI and ADP GHQ for their continuous awareness programmes.
