Al Menhali urges police personnel to boosting culture of quality and police excellence

 Abu Dhabi Police honored a number of distinguished non-commissioned officers and policemen at the Criminal Investigation Department, at the annual ceremony held earlier at the Police Officers Club, in the presence of Major Gen. Mohammed Al Awadhi Al Menhali, director- general of Police Operations at Abu Dhabi Police.

Al Menhali, the patron of the ceremony, congratulated the honored staff, and affirmed, in a speech on this occasion, the keenness of Abu Dhabi Police on maintaining quality and excellence standards, and enhancing the level of performance.

He urged all Abu Dhabi Police personnel to establish the culture of quality, maintain their achievements in job duties, and transfer their expertise to their work colleagues.

“Abu Dhabi Police is working in line with a clear strategy the aim of which is to provide high level training to its staff members through the optimal use of the latest smart technologies”, said Al Menhali.

He praised their efforts and called on all Abu Dhabi Police personnel to work sincerely so that Abu Dhabi Police achieves its aims to become the most professional police force.

He also urged them to develop their capabilities and sense of security to be able to confront the different criminal methods, noting that Abu Dhabi has become one of the most advanced police organizations worldwide, thanks to its numerous achievements in terms of quick crime detection and bringing criminals before justice.

“Criminal Investigation Department has made huge steps in combating organized crime, crimes against persons, and in arresting wanted criminals, and reducing drugs related crimes; thanks to the directives of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior”, said Al Menhali.
For his part, Brig. Hammad Ahmed Al Hammadi, director of Criminal Investigation Department thanked Major Gen Al Menhali for his attendance, and said, “This ceremony is a good step to support the distinguished personnel whose efforts have been really appreciated by the Department”. He urged them to show utmost vigilance and devotion in their work.

The ceremony included variety of events, and in the end, Al Menhali, received a commemorative trophy from the Criminal Investigation Department
