Al Marar reviews preparedness of ADP concerned security teams
Colonel Khamis Musabah Al Marar, Acting Director General of ADP Security and Ports Affairs visited yesterday morning the Departments of Weapons and Explosives and Security Inspection (K9) at ADP, to review security preparations for the events and activities which will be organized during the coming two months, to ensure their preparedness to deal with emergencies and coordination with other police teams.
In a statement Colonel Al Marar said “The coming period will witness several events. ADP as [part of its strategic approach organizes its security operations to boost security and safety, and promotes police services to highest levels. The events include GCCC States Summit and World Clubs Championship Cup”.
Al Marar held a meeting at the Department of weapons and explosives attended by Colonel Humeid Saeed Al Afreet, Director of the Department, Heads of sections and directors of Branches. The meeting discussed the Department participation in securing previous events and activities such as f1 Races and its preparedness for the coming events and activities.
Then he visited the training and police dogs demonstration field, vet clinic and dog enclosures at the security Inspection Department (K9). He met with Lt. Colonel Jamal Habash who briefed him on preparations and preparedness of police dogs for search and security tasks before and during activities. He also briefed him of future training plans and achievements during camps outside the country.
At the end of his visit Al Marar affirmed the importance of training for technical development of human cadres. He lauded the technical standard and high skills of the security inspection, weapons and explosives personnel.
