Agreement to introduce Electronic Link between the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Labor
HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior witnessed the signing of the agreement which would provide electronic link between the Ministries of Interior and Labour.
Major General Nasser bin Al Awadhi Al Minhali, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs at MoI, signed for the Ministry of Interior, and Mr. Humaid Rashid bin Deimass Al Suwaidi, Acting Director general of Labor Ministry, signed for the Ministry of Labour.
The ceremony was also attended by HE Saqr Ghabash Saeed Ghabash, Minister of Labor, Major General Nasser La Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of HH's Office, Major General, Mattar Salim Miseid Al Niyadi, Director General of Electronic Services and Communications at the Ministry of Interior and a number of Senior Official at the two Ministries.
According Al Minhali, "the agreement is part of the joint cooperation between Federal Ministries in different areas, to achieve the UAE government strategy. The agreement introduces standards and controls to identify procedures, responsibilities, administrative and technical terms of reference of the link process. This link will provide a secure environment for both Ministries to exchange information and data in an effective way he added.
The implementation of the project would be carried out in a phased manner by two teams representing the two Ministries.
