authorities' cooperation with "Your safety" Initiative
ADP GHQ has concluded its Imitative "Your Safety" Acquainting the public with police services and educating the public on safety and protection conditions. The Imitative was implemented by the Department of Security Media at the Secretariat General of the Office of HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Major General Mohammad bin Al Awadhi, Director General of ADP Policing Operations lauded different public and private institutions cooperation with the Imitative, which continued through intensified programmes and activities to ensure pilgrims safety, to enhance awareness of safety and protection conditions during Eid holiday.
Al Awadhi expressed his appreciation for Hajj Missions cooperation with police departments the thing that contributed to the success of the journeys to and from the Holy Land without any mishaps. He greeted police elements and the watchful eyes at Traffic and Ports Directorates for their efforts in serving pilgrims and facilitating their travelling procedures.
He also lauded he great interaction by pilgrims with police awareness efforts, safety and protection conditions. He affirmed ADP keenness to enhance partnership and cooperation with different public and private institutions and departments, which boost and promote service efforts, in response to the directives of our higher leadership which has provided all types of support and care for citizens and residents.
The Initiative during Eid Holiday was characterized by intensified traffic patrols at markets and shopping centers to ease traffic flow and to offer awareness doses. It reminded families not to allow their children to play with fire crackers and their dangers.
The Imitative introduced ADP Operations Room efforts to the public and its role in communication with the community through its phone number 999 round the click, humanitarian role of ADP Community Police on visiting patients in hospitals. It also highlighted the role of the Department of Emergency and Public safety through its well equipped teams and ambulances, in responding to emergencies at different locations, in addition to other policing and security services which ADO deliver within its strategy and priorities to increase the public trust.
