Abu Dhabi Police distributes meals to road users
Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters started on Saturday distribution of Ramadan meals to internal and highway road users in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Western Region and Police Stations visitors before Maghrib payer time.
According to Major General Mohammad bin Al Awadhi Al Minhali, Acting Director General of Policing Operations these meals which amount to 1000 per day as per the directives of HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, in order to enhance partnership with community sectors, specially road users, to reduce traffic accidents by those who over speed to catch Ramadan meal.
Both Lt. Colonel Mubarak bin Muheiroom, Acting Director of Community Policing Department and Mr. Issa bin Abdul Jaleel Al Faheem, Secretary General of Abdul Jaleel Al Faheem Endowment have confirmed cooperation between ADP GHQ for the second consecutive year in this project to maintain people safety.
