Abu Dhabi Police celebrations on the occasion of the 41st National Day continues with pride in the achievements of building the nation and accomplishments in all areas. On this occasion, the Juvenile Welfare Centre at the Abu Dhabi Police organized a heritage evening.
Brigadier Ahmed Mohammed Nehkairah, Head of Human Rights Department, in the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Juveniles Care Center Steering Committee, said that the 41st national day celebration is a dear occasion to us; it carries within its folds the history of UAE and its achievements in terms of growth and prosperity. This day holds a lot of the values of loyalty, pride and sense of belonging to this good land.
The celebration included a film on the history of diving and pearls in the UAE, and traditional competitions for the parents of juveniles. Moreover, the Emirati performing artist, Humaid Obaid Liwad took part in the celebration with a number of paintings depicting UAE inherent heritage. In parallel, the Security Media Department presented the Saqr (Falcon) motorbike that caught the attention of the audience.
The Traffic and Patrols Directorate and “Saaed” participated in the National Day celebrations in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Rehabilitation & Care Center for People with Special Needs in Al Mafraq, in the presence of the disabled people and their parents. The ceremony included many events, namely “Tathqeef” traffic patrol presentation, free painting studio, as well as organizing contests and offering gifts to students.
In the same vein, Al Ain Police Directorate celebrated this occasion with an old photos exhibition, opened by Colonel Mohammed Suhail Al Rashidi, Acting Director of Al Ain Police Directorate. The Photos showcased the historical stages of building the Union State.
In parallel, Al Ain Traffic and Patrols Section at the Traffic and Patrols Directorate in Abu Dhabi Police, organized a cars parade and infantrymen convoy, involving a number of departments and government agencies, and students of universities and colleges, public and private schools and sports and cultural clubs, in addition to a number of police agencies, including civil defense, and police, first aid and rescue schools.
The vehicles convoy also featured old police patrol cars and a number of cars offered by Al Futtaim motors. The ceremony also included poems recitations and female students from “Al Thiqa” school presented an operetta concert.
In addition, the Medical Services Department affiliated to the Finance and Services General Directorate, in coordination with Al Dhabyaniah Committee at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs and the Family Development Foundation also celebrated UAE’s 41st National Day.
The celebrations featured an operetta “the Seven Emirates” presented by a group of female students, as well as Al yula folklore dances; in addition to a military parade by the presidential guard.
In parallel, officers from the Western Region Police, offered gifts inspired by the National Day occasion to the guests coming via Al Ghuwaifat border.
Colonel Ojeil Ali Abdullah Al Junaibi, Director of the Western Region Police Directorate said that the national day is a unique anniversary because it carries special meanings for the people of the UAE; and it reflects the accomplishments that have been made.
