Many departments of Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters celebrated awarding 31 of their commissioned and non-commissioned officers, and distinguished civilians, including 5 of those who presented previously few good suggestions for the work of the Human Resources General Department. Excellence Medals were distributed at the ceremony to six other officers from the General Department of Security and Ports Affairs, who were included in the ministerial decree no. 244 for 2012.

Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations, honored 13 distinguished personnel from his department at the Director General Office, Operations Departments, IT Division, Vehicle and Driver Licensing, Emergency and Public Safety, Air Wing, Geosecurity Systems, as well as employees who received the award of the Ideal Employee.

 Major General Al Raisi congratulated distinguished employees who won this recognition, and praised their remarkable efforts in carrying out their duties. He commended their dedication and professionalism that made them eligible for the award, and encouraged them to achieve more excellence in their police work.

He confirmed the keenness of the police leadership to motivate distinguished Abu Dhabi Police Personnel, and recognize their efforts.

The honored employees expressed their happiness for receiving the awards, and extended their gratitude to the higher leadership for providing an environment that nurtures innovation and distinction.

Major General Al Raisi, in the presence of high-ranking officials, handed out certificates of gratitude and appreciation, as well as commemorative gifts to the honored employees.

Brigadier Dr. Saif Salem Bu Dhfeera Al Ameri, Director General of Security and Ports Affairs, presented at his office medals to six officers included in the ministerial decree no. 244 for 2012 for their functional excellence. The recognized officers were from Departments of Crime Scene, Weaponry and Explosives, Security Search and Forensic Evidence. The ceremony took place in the presence of Colonel Abdulrahman Al Hamadi, Director of Forensic Evidence Department.

13 commissioned and non-commissioned officers from the office of the Director General of Security and Ports Affairs, Forensic Evidence, Crime Scene, Airport and Port Security Police, and Weaponry and Explosives were also honored. Certificates and commemorative gifts were distributed on the recognized staff.

Brigadier Dr. Saif Al Ameri reiterated the police leadership’s solicitude to motivate distinguished employees for better performance, which would promote the development efforts of police and security work. He added that the strategy of Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters is focusing on human resources and motivating distinguished police personnel.
 
He also congratulated the recognized personnel for their excellence, dedication and professionalism and encouraged them to make more efforts, compete and innovate to give examples for others to follow.

The Human Resources General Department at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters recognized another five distinguished personnel who presented few good suggestions for the work of the Human Resources General Department which were applied in 2011. This recognition comes in appreciation for their contributions in advancing the work of the department. The five personnel were awarded the recognition based on the applied proposals, creativity and innovation standards they showed.
