Abu Dhabi Airports Company reviews ADP model of excellence
Colonel Ali Obeid Al Darmaki,, Director of Personnel Department, Leader of Staff Team and Staff Results at ADP has received recently a delegation from Abu Dhabi Airports Company, headed by Ahmed Al Hadabi, Senior Deputy CEO for Airports Operations.
The delegation reviewed ADP experience and its implementation mechanisms, which resulted in ADP getting 4 prizes of Abu Dhabi Government Excellence Award in the second year. The visit comes within the framework of ADP joint interest in exchange of knowledge and enhancement of partnership with local agencies and departments, in response to Abu Dhabi Government aspirations and vision.
Captain Rashid Abdullah Al Dossari, Head of Institutional Excellence Secretariat Section at the Department of Strategy and Performance Development, together with Lt. Sameeha Al Zidjali, Director of Technical Affairs at the Institutional Excellence Secretariat Section, with the presence of a number of officers and experts, and Quality and Excellence Teams Representatives delivered a presentation about the organizational structure of the Institutional Excellence Secretariat Section, its tasks and terms of reference. They also explained ADP journey to the Award. The presentation included the change process in 2003 with the launch of the first five-year strategic plan and the introduction of a new organizational structure for ADP GHQ including the organizational structure of the Department of Strategy and performance Development, working teams efforts in implementation of global standards of quality and implementation of institutional excellence standards within ADP.
"The concept of excellence and its requirements was clear from the outset of the time where ADP had started drafting the outlines of its plan to get excellence in government performance awards, in response to the directives of police leadership in systematic steps and through effective mechanism", added Al Zidjali.
The presentation also focused on ADP interest in total development project and achieving the vision of our higher leadership in formulation of constructive initiatives.
The Media Expert Muhi Deen Qasim Ismaeel, explained the efforts of ADP GHQ in dissemination of quality and institutional excellence culture among ADP GHQ personnel. He also explained the role of the Magazine "Quality" in supporting these efforts through the researches and studies it presents to the readers.
At the end of the visit Colonel Al Darmaki presented a trophy to the visiting delegation who lauded the distinguished performance of ADP, and affirmed the importance of visits exchange to achieve more cooperation and and to benefit from different experiences.
Ahmed Al Hadabi, Leader of the delegation thanked the working team fro their warm welcome and hospitality and said "The achievements of ADP is the pride of all the country nationals. It has crowned ADP career in spreading security among community. He wished ADP GHQ more successes".
The meeting was attended by Colonel Saeed Saif al Nuaimi, Leader of Resources and Partnerships Team and Community Results, Colonel Salim Shaheen, Leader of Operations Team and Customers Results, and a number of ADP officers and civilian employees. From the visiting delegation side there were Bashar Abdul Rahman Al Jawhari, Deputy CEO for Strategy, Mohammad Al Marri, Deputy CEEO for Human Resources, Mohammad Al Katheeri, deputy CEO for Quality, Sheikha Al Maskari, Deputy CEO for Institutional Affairs, Othman Mohammad Al Khoor
