AL Nuaimi: disabled="disabled" Persons Week is a "Kids Park" Priority
The activities of the disabled="disabled" Persons Week were concluded at the Kids Park on Thursday. The Week was organized by the Kids Park in collaboration with Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Persons with Special Needs. The event was attended by Nasser La Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Owner of the Kids Park project.
About the Week said Al; Nuaimi "The main aim of the disabled="disabled" Week Festival is to acquaint them with their environment, how to deal with animals and to enhance friendliness with animals through the children farm. Thus they learn how to preserve environment".
"Today we conclude the festival with a visit from Zayed Agricultural Center at Bani Yass disabled="disabled" persons. They are married and are accompanied by their wives and children to explore the park features. This festival is part of the Kids Park initiatives which the park organizes regularly. It aims to serve this segment of the community", added Al Nuaimi.
"The park project has started as a simple concept. Now it has become a completed project including different types of wild and tamed animals. The park will soon receive a giraffe an a rhinoceros. There are constructional expansions for different type of fishes and reptiles. Foreign experts will be made available to give right information to the children and to train them how to deal with animals", added Al Nuaimi.
Maryam Saif Al Qubaisi, Head of disabled="disabled" Persons Sector at Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care has lauded the efforts made by the Kids Park during the disabled="disabled" Week. Their happiness with the visit removed all barriers between them and animals. She thanked the Kids park management for its interaction with this segment of the community. She also has appreciated the park initiative, which is the first of its kind at Abu Dhabi Emirate level, to organize a free festival for disabled="disabled" persons. She has urged other private institutions to follow the Kids park example.
Owner of this national and social project Nasser Al Nuaimi and Maryam Al Qubaisi accompanied a delegation from Zayed Agricultural Center together with their wives and children in a tour around the park. He took them to the park guest house where they took light meal, to watch the Colombian snake show and then commemorative photos were taken.
