ADP signs a contract to be provided with tetra system
ADP GHQ signed, during participation in Gitex, a contract with Al Ain Distribution Company, on Tuesday. According to the contract ADP GHQ would provide the Company with Tetra Network Services. Tetra Network Service is network run by ADP for Wireless Communications. The contract would boost strategic partnership relations between ADP and different local departments in Abu Dhabi Emirate., so as to serve all community segments and to affect the Emirate development progress in a positive way.
Colonel Anwar Abdullah Al Mullah, Director of Information Technology and Telecommunications Department signed for ADP GHQ, and Mohammad bin Omeir Al Shamsi, Deputy Director General of the Company, signed for Al Ain Distribution Company.
Also according to the contract, ADP would provide its Wireless Communication Network services for the Company, to train a number of the Company staff in operating the equipments used by the Tetra System and to provide communication sets suiting the Company tasks. ADP would also provide maintenance services when required.
The Company would provide trained cadres to deal with Tetra Equipments and the use would be restricted to safety and security areas.
"The contract was in line with the police leadership vision to support coordination and cooperation with government agencies in order to make use of the advanced technological levels achieved by ADP. ADP had signed similar contracts with several local departments and firms", added Al Mullah.
"The Tetra System has many features including coverage of all land and sea areas of the Emirate. It allows users to communicate with each others with full privacy. The contract specified the roles and responsibilities of both parties", added Al Mullah.
Al Mullah expressed his thanks and appreciation of the Company's trust in technological systems and programmes owned by ADP.
On the other hand Mohammad bin Omeir Al Shamsi said "We are very proud of the distinguished cooperation with ADP GHQ. The use of Tetra System by the Company employees would assist in improvement of services delivered to the customers"
"By the use of Tetra Network, operation and maintenance employees of the Company would be able to use the wireless sets between them in order to follow up the work around the clock and send and receive group messages and not individual message, where all the working team members could listen to the message to ensure more efficiency and quicker response.
It is worth mentioning that the Company seeks to develop its services as part of its future strategic plan. Because of this the Company always aspires to the best.
