ADP signs a Dh9.6m deal for security equipment
ISNR 2010 concluded its activities on Wednesday. The event registered an unprecedented success. More than 8 thousand person from 54 countries participated in the present session of ISNR 2010 in Abu Dhabi, during the period from 1 to 3 March 2010, under the patronage of HH General Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the support of HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy prime Minister and Minister of Interior and in collaboration with Reed Exhibitions Company.
ADP GHQ announced on Tuesday the signing of an agreement with Al Hamra Trading Company and in collaboration with Telerob Company. According to the agreement ADP GHQ would purchase security equipments for Dh 9,600,000.
Colonel Hameed Al Afreet, Director of Firearms and Explosives Department at ADP says, the aim of the deal is to get the best advanced technological equipments to fight terrorism and to boost the security of establishments in Abu Dhabi Emirate and the country. Five equipment will serve security sites in UAE and Abu Dhabi Emirate in addition to three equipments which wree purchased for Dh 6m during ISNR 2008.
These equipments proved their efficiency at Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Ain Airport and DP GHQ, within the strategic plans tp secure the country.
Conference activities and specialized workshops were attended by top security officials from different countries. The Conference was led by a number of experts and specialized persons. This session attracted 8070 persons, registering an increase by 6% in comparison with the previous session which had attracted 7614 persons.
Chief of Reed Exhibition Company, Mr. Fredric Tu, expressed his satisfaction with the level of discussions during working papers and workshops. He lauded MoI pivotal role and strategic partners who made great efforts for ISNR 2010 success.
