ADP provides the Mondial playing fields with portable digital cameras
Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters has launched the slogan "Cheer Warmly…Cheer in a Civilized way", as part of its current awareness campaign while the Capital Abu Dhabi hosts FIFA Club World Cup, to confirm the importance of civilized cheering which befits the country status and its global reputation.
ADP GHQ has also affirmed its keenness to achieve love, tolerance and raport spirit between different communities and community members, through its campaign organized by the Department of Security Media under the theme "Abu Dhabi Police…One Team…One Goal…Your Safety".
In order to enhance security efforts ADP has provided the playing field with portable dual view digital cameras to spot any bad or negative behaviors by fans.
Colonel Rashid Suhail Al Ali, Director of ADP Department of Special Tasks, hosting the FIFA Club World Cup by the country after the successful hosting of last year event, is an achievement in itself. It should be invested through media as a national achievement to reflect a shining and civilized image of the country and its people, citizens and residents.
The method of cheering mirrors the awareness, proper education and law respect of nations. He expresses his appreciation of the civilized cheering method adopted by the people during last year Mondial.
He urges cheerer and their families to cooperate with police elements and their efforts in maintaining security and order, to enable them to enjoy the matches of the championship.
On the other hand Captain Jamal Al Hosani, Head of Technical Affairs Section at the Department of Security Media, said "The state-of-the-art surveillance cameras, which are designed to global specifications by ADP, cover all locations and sports sites, so as to ensure adherence to civilized behaviors by the game fans. They spot directly unbecoming and negative and reckless behaviors by some fans.
They have been developed technically so that they can be moved easily from one place to another, according to supporters' crowds. They are provided with internal batteries, so that they can easily be taken from one place to another, not like in the past where they remained stationed on one site, added Al Hosani.
ADP encourages fans to highlight a civilized image while cheering their teams, without disturbing others and violating their freedom. These cameras will be a conviction means for any misbehavior. Such persons will be dealt with firmly. Any reports of such misbehaviors will be dealt with strictly in coordination with police departments.
The portable dual view digital cameras will spot any reckless behaviors very accurately, regardless whether there is a complaint or not. The cameras cover a certain area of audience in all directions and at the same time. They have zoom features for clearer image. Irresponsible behaviors towards the other team or over-cheering may create and lead to wrong reactions, which affect negatively the progress of match and safety of others.
