ADP is the first government organization which receives its 2011 budget
The Abu Dhabi Department of Finance has appreciated the distinguished performance of ADP GHQ and submission of its unified budget of 2011, the first government organization in Abu Dhabi which submits its 2011 budget, one month before the dead line.
A delegation led by Major General Khaleel Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at ADP, submitted the 2011 budget on Thursday at the Department of Finance Head Office on Abu Dhabi Corniche Road.
Major General Badran said "This achievement is in response to the directives of HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to work as one team. He has lauded the efforts of the officers, experts and personnel of the Directorate General of Finance and Services.
ADP GHQ is keen to implement global quality and excellence standards and also to achieve the strategic objectives of Abu Dhabi Government aiming to provide welfare and decent life for all citizens of the country.
Mohammad Sultan Al Hamli, Executive Director of the Department of Finance has welcomed the ADP delegation and its initiative in submitting ADP GHQ budget before the dead line. He has lauded the distinguished and effectives efforts which characterized ADP over years - coordination, cooperation and team work in response to the directives of our Higher Leadership.
Al Hamli has urged all government departments and organizations to follow ADP GHQ example, in response to the directives of HH Mohammad bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chief of the Department of Finance and follow up of Hamad Al Hur Al Suwaidi, Department Undersecretary.
"In the light of HH's directives, we will keep working as one team between the Department and all government departments and agencies in order to achieve the strategic goals of Abu Dhabi Government", added Al Hamli.
Brigadier Salim Al Shamsi, Deputy Director General of Finance and Services, Lt. Colonel Ahmed Al Badi, Deputy Director of Financial Affairs and a number of officers from ADP were present during the ceremony. Abdul Aziz Harib Al Yusuf, Deputy Director General of Budget, from the Department was also present during the event.
