The Consultative Authority of ADP GHQ Quality Magazine held its first meeting on Thursday. The meeting was chaired by Lt. Colonel Fayssal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Director of Strategy and Performance Development Department and the Quality Magazine Editor, at the Department Conference Room. The meeting discussed the methods to promote quality and excellence message in Medias, important issues handled by the magazine, how to develop them and to introduce the objectives of the Consultative Authority.
Al Shuaibi explained ADP GHQ strategy to spread quality and institutional excellence culture among the HQ personnel, and how to communicate this culture to the biggest segment of the community.
Captain Rashid Abdullah al Dossari, Director of Institutional Excellence Secretariat at ADP and Secretary of the Quality Magazine, explained the vision, message and objectives of the Magazine, and the Leadership aspirations to promote it to highest standards.
Muhi Deen Qasim Ismaeel, Media Expert, Deputy Editor of the Magazine and general coordinator gave historical brief about he Magazine since its establishment in 2003.
Then a documentary showing the Magazine progress and activities was shown. The documentary showed the Magazine participation in local and international forums. The strategic partners were: Harrington Institute, Emirate Quality Society, Abu Dhabi world Excellence Center, Saudi Council of Quality and Dubai Quality Group.
The Consultative Authority recommended drafting of a Cooperation Agreement with the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) to publish refereed topics in the Magazine in Arabic and English, and issuance of special questionnaire to measure the achievement of the Magazine objectives and message, and participation of the Magazine as a media sponsor the Middle East Quality Forum, which will be held next December in Abu Dhabi Emirate.
The meeting was attended by the members of the consultative authority: Professor al Hadi Al Tijani, Executive Chairman of Abu Dhabi world Excellence Center, General Coordinator of Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award, Chairman of Emirates Quality Society, Dr. Ayedh Al Umari, Chairman of Saudi Quality Council, Chairman of Middle East Quality Society, Dr. Wafi Dawood, member of Directors Council, Chairman of Institutional Excellence at Knowledge and Human Development Authority, Chairman of Dubai Quality Group, Professor Kadhim al Shaghana, Strategy and Institutional Excellence Expert and EGQM Consultant, Dr. Luai Naqasha, Quality and Excellence Expert, Ex-Chairman of Emirates Quality Society, Dr. Jalal Al Nuaimi, Strategy and Excellence Expert at ADP GHQ, captain Rashid Al Dossari, Director of Institutional Excellence Secretariat and Secretary of the Quality Magazine and Muhi Deen Qasim Ismaeel, Deputy Editor and General Coordinator of the Quality Magazine.
