ADP Information technology Department completes Radio Communication project
ADP GHQ Department of Information Technology and Telecommunication has announced completion of radio communication project, during its annual party at Abu Dhabi Hilton Hotel, where it has honored 59 of its employees, 23 employees from different ADP GHQ Departments and 10 persons from cooperating companies.
The ceremony was attended by Brigadier Jasim al Marzouqi, Deputy Director General of ADP Human Resources, Colonel Anwar Al Mullah, Director of IT and Telecommunications, Colonel Ismaeel Al Sarcal, Deputy Director of Central Operations and a number of officers and employees.
Brigadier al Marzouqi lauded the imitative of the Department of IT and Telecommunications which was one of the distinguished departments in ADP GHQ.
“The annual ceremony which the Department of It and Telecommunications organizes to honor employees contributes a lot to motivation of employees to the best”, added Al Marzouqi.
Colonel Al Mullah delivered a speech in which he explained the achievements of the Department during 2010 which were a natural result of the police leadership support. The achievements included getting ISO 9001 and increasing the users of ADP network to 13500.
The Department was able to implement a federal traffic system at the country level, unification of all driving licenses and vehicles registration. The Department also participated in the Higher Colleges of Technology Exhibition, International Security Exhibition, Gitex and Jasco Exhibitions.
“Excellence is an endless road. Any successful department deals with present and future challenges, which is a good opportunity for development and improvement, including modernization of the Department organizational structure to keep pace with ADP GHQ strategy and to qualify for quality systems regarding security and information security technologies (ISO 27000) and (ISO 20000), quality of services delivered by the Department and human element in terms of training and qualification to improve performance to highest levels”, added Al Mullah.
Brigadier Jasim Al Marzouqi honored the distinguished employees at the Department sections level, at ADP GHQ Departments’ level and at the cooperating companies’ level. The exemplary employee was also honored, Lt. Colonel Mohammad Abdullah Al Zaabi, Deputy Director of the Department. The prized of exemplary employee was introduced newly by the Department of IT and Telecommunications.
The honored persons thanked the Department for this distinguished initiative. The party began with verses from the Holly Quran. Then the present watched a documentary showing the achievements of the Department followed by international and eastern pieces of music. The evening also included quizzes and valuable prizes. The famous Emirati comedian presented a comic programme.
