ADO Community Policing Department participates in ADNOC Seminar on Health, Safety and Environment
The Department of Community Policing at ADP participated in the annual Seminar on Health, safety and Environment, organized by Abu Dhabi National Oil Distribution Company (ADNOC), at the Armed Forces Officers' Mess, on Tuesday.
The Seminar discussed three major themes represented in ten working papers. The papers discussed the issues concerning safety, health and environment, in addition to negative aspects done by motorists when filling their vehicles.
Lt. Colonel Mubarak Awadh bin Muheiroom, Director of Community Policing Department presented a paper stating ADP vision to become the most operationally effective police force possible in one of the safest countries in the world. He also explained the message of his Department for a safe community, permanent stability, crime reduction and achievement of justice to gain community confidence. The paper explained the goals and objectives of the Community Policing Department and its efforts to enhance trust between the community members and police organization.
He focused on creating an integrated system of partnerships with government departments, local agencies and private sector. In his paper Lt. Colonel bin Muheiroom presented a number of proposals: Building and developing security responsibility, training filling stations staff to check tires safety and how to face emergencies.
