A new website to deliver advanced traffic services
ADP GHQ intends to launch a new electronic site to deliver advanced traffic services, by using ID card to log on and out.
This has been announced by Colonel Anwar Al Mullah, Director of ADP Information Technology and Telecommunications Directorate. ADP is the first government body which uses the ID card a means to enter electronic sites. Unified electronic link with Au Dhabi Government Site is completed.
"ADP is one of the leading government institutions which support the development progress which Abu Dhabi City witnesses, and aims to increase the community stability and security by use of latest technologies.
ADP works very hard to achieve the public satisfaction through adoption of best practices, in order to simplify procedures and transactions, including provision of electronic alternatives for services and easy access from any place and at any time.
The set up of a site for traffic services is part of ADP efforts to facilitate and simplify procedures for the public. The web site will provide an electronic version of the most wanted services, such as enquiries about violations, fines and their payment.
Although the site is for the use of all, but it is designed to maintain the confidentiality of personal information of customers, as it follows strict policy in logging on the site. We are keen to keep pace with Abu Dhabi Government electronic initiatives, to enhance quality and safety. ADP seeks to contribute to this goal through setting up strategies which boost advanced services delivered to the public.
The aim of the web sit is to allow the public to use traffic services in an easy way, to reduce the number of people visiting Police Departments, to implement unified logging on mechanism by use of Id card and to provide information in a safe way to save time and effort.
Captain Rashid Shuteit Al Shamsi, Director of Electronic Services Branch, said "The site delivers services to the site members who arte registered on the Unified Logging System of Abu Dhabi Government. They are:
