"Sahim" to detect infiltrators and residency law violators in RAK
The Department of Violators and Foreigners Follow up at MoI has launched "Sahim" service in RAK. The service is represented in the 24 hour toll free number (80080) to receive all information about infiltrators and residency law violators. Major General Nasser Al Awadhi Al Minhali, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs at MoI has launched the same service in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. The service has assisted in arresting infiltrators and law violators and Emiratis who protect them.
Colonel Saeed bin Rakan Al Rashdi, Director of Violators and Foreigners Follow up Department during his tour at the Northern Emirates ahs reviewed the progress of work in the Sections of his Department in these Emirates. He was received by Colonel Abdullah Ali Head of the Section at RAK. According to Colonel Ali the Department cooperates with the Ministry of Labor Teams in its inspection campaigns. The Department has announced cash prizes fro those who give information about the infiltrators and violators.
Director of the Department has stated that such inspection campaign will continue day and night to curb the phenomenon, as the directives of our leadership require us to take all necessary actions to fight infiltrators and residency law violators. The punishment includes two months imprisonment and (DH 100,000) fine. Any owner of company who employs or shelters infiltrator will pay a fine of (Dh 50,000).
