"Law Culture" and "Human Rights" department visits

The joint delegation of the Law Respect Culture Bureau and Human Rights Department at the Secretariat general of the office of HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, have concluded their visits to labour exporting Arab and Asian countries embassies.
The delegation paid visit to twelve Arab and Asian countries embassies for direct consultation and coordination with ambassadors to bridge gaps and enhance effective communication and cooperation between MoI Departments and embassies representing communities living in the UAE.
Lt. Colonel (Dr.) Salah Al Ghoul, Director of Law Respect Culture Bureau said "The joint delegation has introduces the newly established two departments at MoI level in response to the directives of HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The directives emphasize consideration of educational and cultural differences among community members. We shall go to them and educate them on law culture and human rights to ensure existence of highest degrees of security, stability and civilized development in the country".
"During the meetings we have discussed how to find a mechanism through which we can cooperate with embassies to carry out their complementary role as an external partner with the two departments in awareness process. The Bureau has distributed recently a manual in seven languages under the title "Laborer is Rights and Duties". It is addressed to labor category, which represents the biggest segment of the UAE community. All embassies have shown their preparedness to assist in the dissemination of the manual among the members of their communities. It will be issued in periodical series for easy reading. Embassies will also assist in making arrangements for educational lectures and seminars which will be organized by the Bureau, to educate labor class on their rights and duties", added Dr. Al Ghoul.
The Director of Law Respect Culture has affirmed that cooperation will continue within a long term plan to make law culture as a well established culture among all members of the UAE community, which is a multi-cultural and multi-ethnical community.
