"Finance and Services" new web site launched
Major General Khaleel Dawood Badran, Director General of ADP Finance and Services has launched the new web site of the Directorate on the internet:
The ceremony was attended by Brigadier Salim Al Shamsi, Deputy Director General of Finance and Services, Director of Finance Department and a umber of directors and Heads of Sections.
Major General Badran said on the occasion "The launch of the new web site reflects our keenness to present advanced electronic services which keep pace with the time, in response to the directives of HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, who always urges us to follow the latest developments. ADP strategy is to cooperate with the community and to gain its trust and satisfaction"
"Keeping pace with latest systems and technologies, in order to promote and develop our services, is on top of our top priorities, for its importance in saving time and effort. Thus we enhance police work progress and deliver distinguished services to the public. This new web site comes as a link between the Directorate general of Finance and Services and its customers", added Badran.
The web site contains a number of links and issues which of interest to the public. There is a direct link with the Director General, Another with Directors of Departments of the Directorate general of Finance and Services (Medical Services, Transport and Workshops, Projects Engineering, Purchasing, Financial Affairs, Clubs and Sports activities). It introduces the role of the Directorate general of Finance and Services and what it presents to employees and customers. There a short brief about each Department, their tasks, activities and achievements, in addition to other new services which will be updated to strengthen the public awareness of the effective role of ADP GHQ, in general and the Directorate in particular.
In the same context Brigadier Salim Al Shamsi, Deputy Director general of Finance and Services said "The web site opens communication channels direct with the Director general and employees and their enquiries, other Directorates genera and external customers, suppliers and partners".
"It allows the public, inside and outside the UAE, to get correct adequate information. It highlights the importance role of the Directorate General of Finance and Services together with other Departments in ADP GHQ. He urges customers and partners to make use of the web site services", added Al Shamsi.
