"Abu Dhabi Traffic" and "Saaed" competition reaches Sharjah

 

Sharjah Educational Zone has circulated the traffic painting competition, launched by ADP Directorate of Traffic and Patrols and Saaed for Traffic Systems, under the slogan "Traffic Safety", at its schools for all categories of age, students and kindergarten children.

This has been announced by Colonel (Engineer) Hussain Ahmed Al Harthi, Director of ADP Directorate of Traffic and patrols and Chairman of Saaed Company Board of Directors. He said "The competition which is the first of its kind in the world has been recognized by Guinness World Record. It addresses all community segments and enhances traffic safety levels".

Al Harthi has lauded Sharjah Educational Zone cooperation in circulating the competition ides to educational field, as it aims to curb to accidents on roads. Educating students since their childhood and through their age stages on traffic awareness will create a safe community. 

The competition targets best expressing paintings, caricatures and posters, except maquette and it has been announced recently on Medias. It still receives paintings from all over the world and from different community segments, in order to have stronger effect on reducing traffic accidents and the resulting deaths and severe injuries.

Al Harthi said "The competition is being circulated to all education fields at the country level. It ahs been welcomed for having it included in drawing lessons at schools. This will help in creating an accident-free community. Traffic accidents have become a source of worry for all community members, and one of the problems which deplete financial resources and human energy, in addition to social and psychological problems.

In the same context, Fawzia Hassan bin Ghareeb, Director of Sharjah Educational Zone said "The grand traffic painting competition has received great interest by Sharjah Educational zone. The Section of Activities and students care has spared no effort to confirm the general aim of the competition, in addition to discovery of talents".

She has affirmed the importance of encouraging all energies through artistic works, which highlights the cultures of participants. A working team has been set up to follow up to implement the competition at Sharjah Educational Zone level and to provide tools and materials that suit each category of age. The competition will give opportunity for innovation and creativity.

She added "The team has been directed to sort out artistic works and to chose the best works for participation in the competition to represent the Sharjah Educational Zone through the chosen works".

 "By continuing this event we affirm our keenness to allow all community categories to participate in the event as it represents a new method of indirect awareness", added Fawzia.

It is worth mentioning that the Directorate of Traffic and Patrols, and Saaed for Traffic Systems, intend to enter Guinness World Record, so as to beat the previous record, in terms of the total number of participations in one competition, in addition to its effect on reducing the increased number of traffic accidents.
