Ministry of Interior in cooperation with Reed Exhibition – Middle East, is organizing the International Security and National Resilience (ISNR) exhibition and conference 2012, which will be held in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center from the 19th to 21st of March. The exhibition is sponsored by General H.H Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces and supported by Lt General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Major General Matar Moseyed Al Niyadi, Director General Of Electronic Services and Telecommunications in the Ministry of Interior, Head of Higher organizing Committee fair and exhibition, reasserted: “Organizing this event in UAE, with all the challenges and growth witnessed by the world and the region, security wise, reflects the big confidence the world has put in our country, and how safe and stable it is under the instructions of our supreme leadership.”
He added: “This fair, in its fifth edition, is considered to be a global event focusing on challenges faced by governments and work environment in the region, to preserve national security, including security data, evaluate threats, keep security in ports and transportation, fight terrorism, protect facilities, manage crisis and disasters, avoid risks and prepare emergency cases and quick response .”
He expressed his happiness with the distinctive level represented in the conference and exhibition, which is considered to be one of the most important events in the security events agenda in the region for 2012. Many companies specialized in security is participating in the exhibition, and they will show their latest technologies and equipment.
He added: “The activities of ISNR include many workshops in which big number of experts and specialized researchers are participating. Those experts will present their expertise in security and technology fields. There will be workshops specialized to view latest international practices in security affairs.”
Brigadier Saeed Salim Al Henki, Director General of Finance and Support Services in Ministry of Interior, Head of Scientific Committee for ISNR conference, said: “The Conference is an integration of efforts by security, educational, industrial institutions to fulfill security all around the world; it is also considered to be an educational front. This will be its fifth session, and it is organized in cooperation with Telecommunication Regulatory Authority, Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center and Reed Exhibition. Many experts and academics known locally, regionally and globally will participate in the exhibition. This comes in line with Ministry of Interior’s strategy and its continuous efforts to enhance international security and spread safety culture.
He added: “The conference this year discusses major points regarding international institutional cooperation, enhancing security and presenting risks, preparations to deal with security risks and crimes and its effect on international security. For three days, the conference will have workshops that will cover a practical application reflecting the discussed subjects.”
He assured: “The conference aims to fulfill a number of goals, such as awareness of the current security risks which needs doubling the efforts locally, regionally and globally.”
Al Henki added: “One of the most important goals is to benefit from local, regional and global expertise in the field of international security and preventing risks, enhancing international security as well to reach to a safe world where everybody lives in peace.”
