Youth Football World Cup in December
Brigadier Faris Khalifa Obeid Al Farisi, Chairman of Security Committee for the Youth Football World Cup Championship, chaired a meeting with FIFA Representatives.
The meeting, which took place in Abu Dhabi, was attended by Mr. Mark Lunch, Representative of FIFA, Lt. Colonel Mohammad Salim Al Zaabi from the Directorate General of Establishments Protection, Lt. Colonel Mahmood Yusuf Al Bluishi, from Traffic and Patrols Department and other officials in charge of the Championship Activities.
Al Farisi confirmed that the Committee spares no effort to ensure the safety and security of all participating delegations through policing procedures adopted by Abu Dhabi Police in such sports events. The Security Committee is ready to cooperate with all FIFA committees to make a success of the event.
The FIFA Representative stated that all preparations for the event which will tale place in next December are progressing well at both Madinat Zayed and Mohammad bin Zayed Stadium. Al Bluishi confirmed that his Department will present every assistance and support to FIFA Committees in respect of traffic issues.
