The General Directorates of Residence and Foreigners Affairs announced the working hours during Eid al-Fitr holidays at its various departments and sections dealing with the public, as well as at Naturalization Departments at the Residence and Foreigners Affairs all over the country from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Major General Nasser bin Al Awadi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs, stated that working teams have been formed in order to achieve the speedy completion of customers’ transactions, and provide services to the public by avoiding work pressure and the expected rush following the holidays, in line with the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to achieve the standards of quality and excellence in performance.

“This procedure aims to implement the police leadership’s vision to enhance the level of services provided to customers, and to promote the Total Quality concepts. It also embodies the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Directorate’s strategy to provide distinguished services to the public; promote the rules of Total Quality and excellence in performance, and serve as many customers as possible”, he added.

Major General Al Menhali stressed the continuous keenness of the General Directorates of Residence and Foreigners Affairs to provide its distinguished services throughout the year, with a high level of quality and also to intensify its activities during the various occasions such as the Holy Month of Ramadan, in order to facilitate procedures for customers and ensure a smooth workflow. He also praised the efforts of employees working at these departments and their response to the new instructions, in line with their keenness to provide the best services to the public.

On this occasion, Major General Al Menhali extended his heartfelt congratulations and sincere wishes, to His Highness, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and to his brother H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, wishing them both a year full of health and happiness. Major General Al Menhali also congratulated the people of the UAE on the occasion.
