Western region Police implements
"Your Safety is Our Top Priority" campaign during water sport festival
The Western region Police Directorate continued its awareness campaign under the slogan "Your Safety is our top priority", as part of the 2nd Water Sport Festival at Al Marfaa City, among big turnout of audience.
Colonel Hamad Saeed Al Dhahri, Director of the Western region Police Directorate said 'The Directorate participation indicates its continuous efforts to communicate with the public and to make use of all opportunities and activities to communicate police message which aims at achieving security awareness and safety for all, and increasing the public trust in police services".
The campaign included different activities, such as direct contacts, exchange of information, distribution of awareness brochures and booklets about sea risks and children safety measures.
The activities also included the marketing of police services to foreign audience and participants. The public expressed their appreciation of the role of the police in serving and communicating with the public.
The activities witnessed big turnout of fans who interacted with awareness programmes and competitions on Al Marfaa Beach Stage. Valuable prized were given to the public from the Police Directorate.
