The Western Region Police Directorate concluded its activities associated with the Dhafra Festival for camels, amid the public’s warm welcoming for the police role, and the events it launched aiming to provide the public with the safety means and gain the trust and the satisfaction of the society regarding the police services.

The police participation included in this year an awareness exhibition organized by the community police at the festival location in order to communicate and be briefed on the public services provided by the Directorate for the visitors and the participants in the festival, thus contributing in resolving the problems they faced at the location.

Colonel Ojeil Ali Abdullah Al Junaibi, Director of the Western Region Police Directorate stressed that the Directorate and the various police apparatus operating in the region are always keen to effectively participate in all the activities organized in this region in order to maintain the communication with the public, be informed about their requirements and consider their propositions, to develop and upgrade the services to the best standards.  

He pointed out that the police presence in all occasions and community events in the Western Region embodies the interest in the effective participation and enhances the communication with the society in general and the bodies and institutions in particular in order to activate the real participation which aims to protect the society and preserve its heritage. 

The Western Region Police Directorate has organized its awareness and service exhibition for the visitors of the Dhafra Festival for camels, which attracted a huge number of visitors. This festival aims to introduce visitors to the police role dedicated to the society and the services provided for them, from which they can benefit by contacting or visiting the police centers in the Western Region. 

The Western Region Police also promoted its awareness efforts through different booklets and brochures that contribute to raise the level of awareness of the public in order to avoid risks that he could face at the location and provide them with the best ways to overcome such risks by contacting the police. At the social level, the Directorate communicated with the audiences through the children village by organizing competitions and giving away souvenirs demonstrating its keenness to aware the youth and introduce them to the police and its role in achieving the goals and aspirations of our secured society.
