Visiting hours for inmates modified during Ramadan
The Correctional and Punitive Establishments Department at ADP has decided to modify visiting timings for inmates in Al Ain, Al Wathba and Al Mufraq, during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Brigadier Yusuf Abdul Kareem Abdullah, Director of the Department said "The visiting hours to, Al Ain and Al Wathba Establishments, have been changed in accordance with following categories:
Sundays: On these days prosecutors can visit men and women inmates, from 09:00 to 14:00 hours.
Mondays: On these days women can visit both men and women inmates, from 09:00 to 17:30 hours.
Thursdays: on these days men can visit women inmates, from 09:00 to 14:00 hours.
Tuesdays: On these days lawyers can visit their male and female clients, from 09:00 to 14:00 hours.
Wednesdays: On these days Diplomats can visit men and women inmates, from 09:00 to 14:00 hours.
Fridays: On these days foreign male visitors can visit male inmates, from 09:00 to 17:30 hours.
Saturdays: On these days Arab male visitors can visit male inmates, from 09:00 t0 17:30 hours.
3 days have been assigned for the visits to minors and juveniles at Al Mufraq Juvenile Welfare Center are as the following:
All visits are from 09:00 to 17:30
Monday: for women
Friday: for foreign men
Saturday: For Arab men.
