US Liaison Officer appreciates MoI efforts in drugs fighting

 

Mr. Michel Zevcovitch, Anti-Narcotics Liaison Officer at the US General Consulate in Dubai, has appreciated MoI Directorate General of Criminal Security and Anti-Narcotics Department efforts during the past period which contributed to seizing a shipment of chemical precursors, which might be used in drugs manufacturing. The shipment was seized while crossing the country borders to a neighboring country. He lauded MoI and other concerned authorities efforts in fighting drugs and reducing the chances of offer and demand.
 
US Liaison Officer (LO) made this statement when an American delegation headed by the Liaison Officer received by Major General Khamis Saif bin Suwaif, Director General of Criminal Security at MoI in his office on Wednesday morning.

They discussed during the meeting a number of issues of mutual interest and ways to enhance cooperation between both countries, especially in respect of drugs fighting and monitoring of chemical precursors.

The head of the American delegation presented a certificate of appreciation to the Director General of Criminal Security at MoI.

The ceremony was attended by Lt. Colonel Abdul Rahman Mohammad Al Uwais, Acting Director of Anti-Narcotics Department and Lt. Colonel Khalid Saeed al Shamsi, Head of Chemical Precursors Control Section at MoI Directorate General of Criminal Security.
