Trainees graduated from the Security Ports Institute

 

Colonel Khamis Mussabah Al Marar, Director of Airports and Outlets Security Police Department of the Directorate General of Security and Ports Affairs at ADP, witnessed the graduation ceremony of Airports Security Supervisors Course for officers, and Airports and Outlets Security and protection Course for NCOs. The ceremony took place at the Airports Security Institute. A number of Section Heads and Branch Directors attended the event.

In his speech to the graduates he confirmed ADP GHQ keenness to raise the efficiency and abilities of ADP personnel through training process. Training requirements in the Department are approved according to elaborated scientific plans taking into account local, regional and international security requirements and developments.

The supervisor course was attended by ten officers and continued for one week. The security and protection of airports continued for two weeks and was attended by 13 NCOs.

At the end of the ceremony he appreciated the graduate's efforts during the courses and wished them success.

 

114 training courses in one year

 

Colonel Al Marar said “The Institute organized 114 training courses last year and were attended by 1814 trainees from different departments and civilian agencies”.

32 personnel from the Customs Department, 35 from the Armed Forces and 60 from the Passports Department participated in these courses. ADP always avails its training services to the partners and other security-related sectors.
