Traffic Dpt. extends timing to 16 hours in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain
The Department of Traffic and patrols at ADP has extended working hours at Violations Branches at the Department, Highways Section in Mussafah and Al Ain Traffic Section from 07;30 to midnight
Colonel Khamis Ishaq Mohammad, Deputy Director of Traffic and Patrols at ADP said "Implementation of the new system of timing is not restricted to certain duration. Extension of working hours and the increase in staff number at the Fines payment Branches is with a view to enable customers to finalize their transactions easily and to curb the rush witnessed by the Department during the past two days".
He has urged the public to report to the identified centers to make use of the new system regarding the reduction of traffic fines by not more than 50%. The total number of transactions processed yesterday, Tuesday was 3969 in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Mussafah and the Western Region during morning and evening working hours.
In the same context the customers numbers witnessed relative decline on Wednesday at the Department of Traffic and patrols in Abu Dhabi, in comparison with customers' numbers during the past two days. Al Ain Traffic Section registered remarkable decline in customer numbers.
The Department of Traffic and Patrols has continued its social communication with the public by offering water, juice and awareness publications to the customers and hopes that this reduction in fines will motivate them to adhere to traffic rules and regulations in the future.
