Abjad Toastmasters Club praised the efforts of the Ministry of Interior to promote the law respect culture among its members, in Classical Arabic.

The Law Respect Culture Bureau, at the General Secretariat of the office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, had recently organized an awareness lecture at the Abjad Club presented by Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Salah Al Ghoul, Director of the Bureau, aiming at educating members and personnel at the Club regarding law respect culture. The attendees were handed out copies of the Bureau’s awareness publications.

Al Ghoul expressed his appreciation for the Bureau’s participation in the educational lecture organized in Classical Arabic, to promote Arabic language skills, and work towards building a social and legal culture among all society members, to instill a sense of justice and social civilization and achieve levels of security and stability.

He also pointed out that the club members interact directly with the police, to advance their legal culture and raise a conscious generation aware of its social responsibilities and who maintains its quintessential values and habits, as well as boosts the concept of law respect.

For his part, Khalid Al Naqib, President of Abjad Toastmasters commended the awareness efforts exerted by the Ministry of Interior to educate all members of society of all ages about the applicable laws in the UAE.

“The lecture enlightened Abjad Toastmasters members and personnel about law respect culture concepts, positively instilling customs and moral values in UAE citizens and residents alike,” he said

Al Naqib thanked the participation of the Law Respect Culture Bureau by organizing this awareness lecture which was given in Classical Arabic, in line with the strategy of the Abjad Toastmasters Club, which is the first Arabic language club in Abu Dhabi. The club aims at teaching leadership and communication skills to strengthen on-the-spot speeches and leadership communication in Arabic among the personnel.

Saeed Harib, President of the UAE Marine Sports Federation (guest of honor), also praised the participation of the Law Respect Culture Bureau in organizing this awareness lecture, which helps create a cultural awareness spirit and educate its members with legal issues in all their aspects by broadcasting them through the printed and audiovisual media outlets, as well as civil society associations and organizations.

He added that promoting a law respect culture among the members of Abjad Toastmasters Club supports leadership and communication skills which are taught to young men and women, such as giving on-the-spot speeches seamlessly. This ultimately reinforces mutual collaboration among government entities and different institutions, including civil society institutions.
