On a beautiful morning of a special day, the Victims Support Branch of the Sheltering Section in the Social Support Centers Department organized a special celebration on the occasion of establishment of the UAE, the 41st National Day, a day that is dear to all nationals and residents. The celebration was held at the branch headquarters.

Brigadier Najm Abdullah Al Hosani, Head of Social Support Centers Department said in his remarks at the event: “Please allow me to extend our deepest wishes to His Highness President of the UAE, His Highness Vice President, and Their Highnesses Sheikhs of the UAE on the occasion of the establishment of our union. This National Day is a great occasion that reflects the most precious meanings of our union, and reflects the consolidation between the sons of this country.”

He added: “The National Day is one of the greatest occasions of our country that catalyzes our feelings, and we try to transform these feelings to ideas that can assist in returning to the country some of its gifts through our sincere feelings towards the nation and by being dedicated to our work. Hence, in this event, we can only extend our thanks to Sariya School for their kind participation, which was not a surprise as it is one of the Abu Dhabi Educational Council schools.”

Concluding, Al Hosani thanked all of the higher police leadership for their unlimited support to the social support centers, and extended his gratitude to all parties who participated in making the event a success.

Captain Khadijah Al Hosani, Victims Support Branch Manager, expressed her happiness on the occasion, which is a reflection of the brotherly bond among all emirates, both through the leaders and the people.

Al Hosani noted that the Social Support Centers Department is celebrating this dear occasion to express its gratitude to the person who built this country, HH Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the UAE, who elevated the people of the UAE to world-class levels. She also extended her deepest gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and to his brothers, the members of the Supreme Council, and Rulers of the Emirates on the occasion.

The celebration, in which children from Sariyah Elementary, the high school in Soyhan, and the Daba Al Harbiyah Band headed by Tala Al Sha’air participated, included a documentary about the union and some cultural activities, in addition to preparing some traditional foods, and organizing traditional dances, public games, and Henna art sessions.

The celebration was attended by Brigadier Ahmed Nehkairah, Head of the Human Rights Department in the Ministry of Interior and Brigadier Najm Abdullah Al Hosani, Head of Social Support Centers Department, along with a number of officers, heads of departments and sections, parents of students, and audiences.
