The Capital Police Ramadan Tent activities continue
The public interacted with the activities of the 2nd Ramadan tent Forum, organized by the Capital Police Directorate (CPD), in collaboration with Al Hilal Bank as (The Exclusive Sponsor), and a number of public and private sectors departments and institutions.
The activities included a competition staged by the Community Police after showing a documentary depicting the history of its establishment, concept and services it delivers to the community. Answers of the questions are included in the documentary events.
The activities also included a competition sponsored by Al Hilal Bank, a documentary by the CID, awareness lecture by the Municipally, The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs presented Um Khamas Show, competition and participation of 999 Magazine in the prizes.
Major Mohammad bin Musalam bin Aziz Al Mahrami, Chairman of the Organizing committee believes that the audience interaction with the Tent activities indicates closeness between he Police Organization and the community. This includes the change of traditional concept about the police.
The General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments presented a lecture delivered by Sheikh Ali Abdullah bin Khamis about the Badr Battle, where he spoke about the battle stages and plans and Muslims victory. He also spoke about the Ramadan tenet Forum which enhances police communication with the community.
He spoke about the endowment project in education and health which General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments execute. He stressed the importance of joint efforts if we want to make a success of charitable and humanitarian works, lauding the UAE efforts in this area. He appreciated ADP role in safeguarding people lives and properties. He urged the public to cooperate with police elements and police organization in general as the security and stability is the responsibility of everyone.
Police Schools Music band entertained the audience with lovely pieces of music.
